Dusseldorf- the „Little Paris“ on the Rhine is well worth more than just one visit. Around the world famous “KÖ” and the lovely Old Town there´s much to see. The architectural highlights in the Media Harbour and the lively variety of art and media lend the city a special flair.
The Dusseldorf City Hostel is situated in the district of Oberkassel and right on the picturesque left bank of the Rhine river. Located directly at the foot of the Rheinknie Bridge, and right across from the Old Town, it is also very close to the city´s centre. All it´s sights are fast and easy to reach.
Due to the central location and comfortable atmosphere, the Dusseldorf Hostel is the perfect address for anyone who wishes to indulge in the various things to see and do which the state capital and region have to offer.
The Hostel
You can expect innovative design and highest standards of comfort and service at affordable prices. After a complete rebuild in 2008 the hostel offers dormitory accommodation and family rooms as well as single and double rooms. All rooms are designed in a bright and modern style and have their own shower and separate toilet. The single and double rooms also feature TVs and Internet access.
Location
The hostel is located directly on the banks of the Rhine offering a beautiful view of the Old Town and the Media Port opposite. All the city’s tourist attractions can be reached from here easily and quickly on foot. Public transport connections to the exhibition centre and the airport are also excellent with a change of transport at Düsseldorf Main Station.
Meals
A generous breakfast buffet is included in the overnight rate which will give you the necessary energy to explore the city. For lunch and dinner you can look forward to a varied, light and international cuisine using fresh produce only. Feel free to discuss any special culinary wishes, e.g. theme buffets or barbecue nights with the hostel team.
The kitchen team will also take account of guests’ vegetarian or religious eating habits in planning the menu.

The pre-requisite for staying in Youth Hostels is the International Youth Hostel membershipcard. Please contact your local Youth Hostel Association Headquarters in your country. Information for international guest: If you don’t have an International Youth-Hostel-Card, an extra payment of 3,10 € for each of the first 6 nights will be required.
